Congratulations to NFL and CFL Champ QB Warren Moon who on Saturday was inducted into the NFL Hall Of Fame. NFL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Speeches and Stuff - CFL, USFL, AFL related" Moose Salzer
** John Madden, the ex-AFL-NFL Oakland Raiders Coach, and former Philadelphia Eagles player, had an interesting speech, about thanking everyone who was related to him and talking about after they turn out the lights in the NFL H-o-F, how all the broze bursts talk to each other. Hhmmm...Al Davis, Managing General Destroyer of the Raidahs, and his walker intro'd Big John. Man, with a Coach that won 100+ games faster than any other in Pro Football history, it shouldn't have taken 25 years for him to get elected into the NFL Hall! Madden, 1968-78, 112-39-7 record, many video games and eight books to his credit including one on tailgating (!), quite an interesting and lighthearted guy. Call him the Don Cherry of US Pro Footy.**

**Sara White, and her and Reggie's son intro'd the late Reggie White, who amassed 32.5 sacks in the USFL and 198.5 more in the NFL in 17 Pro seasons, blubbered through the second least interesting of the Introductions, but at least it was genuine.**

**The best one I thought had to be former five time Dallas Offencive Lineman Larry Rayfield Wright, who praised God, Jesus and all his family and explained how he was moved to three positions during his Cowboys career and how the late D-Line Coach Ernie Stautner and Coach Tom Landry were real good  influences. He emplored kids to respect their elders, work hard and listen to their heart when trying to get to their dreams, via Sports.**

** Harry Carson, former New York Giants best LB ever, mentioned his former teammates, like the late RB Doug Kotar, former University of KY star, who are no longer around. He talked about his hard work in his native South Carolina which along with good Coaching got him to where he ended up in Canton, OH.**

**Former CFL QB Warren Moon (five Grey Cup wins in six appearances in Edmonton) talked about all the fine Coaches (June Jones, Jerry Glanville, Hugh Campbell, et, al) he had that helped him along the way. His was the CFL connection at this years Hall Induction**

**How Troy Aikman ever bribed that fools in Canton to put him in the Hall was an embarrassment to the League. The push-button, short pass throwing, now fine Announcer on Fox Spots was intro'd by loser Norv Turner, who has screwed up two NFL teams with his Non Coaching! Troy didn't mention, but should have been intro'd by two better QBs who REALLY helped the Cowboys win two of those three Super Bowls - Steve Beuerlein and Bernie Kosar who were both better than him!**" Moose

Moose that's a bit harsh on Troy Aikman I think?

Sun, July 23, 06 "Ricky Williams breaks his arm playing in the CFL for the Toronto Argonauts! I bet Ricky wished the game was played on Grass! Ricky Williams on Pro Bowl MYKwebTV!" Myk

Ricky Williams who is this season playing with the Toronto Argonauts broke his left arm Saturday as the Argo's defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders 26-23.

Before he broke his arm on the hard astro turf in Regina Williams had 4 carries for 17 yards, one of them he ran for 16 yards. In his 5 games he has gained 231 yards on 57 carries for a 4.1 yard average and with 1 touchdown. Ricky is 6th in the CFL in rushing yards.

I wonder if Ricky would have broken his arm if the game was played on grass or the new artificial grass surface. Maybe Ricky was not looking forward to playing on the astro turf as we know he likes grass. Regina's field unfortunately is the only CFL field that is astro turf. I look forward to seeing Ricky playing again for the Argo's later this season.

Pittsburgh - Ben's face not the only thing to take a hit; Kimo Von Oelhoffen, their best DLm left for the Jets, Antwann Randal El, wr/rb/kr/qb went to Washington, et, al.

Cincinnati - Carson's knee will be OK but it won't matter this year. Look out in '07!
Cleveland - There is no starting QB. Aside from that everything's right on schedule!
Baltimore - Steve McNair makes all the difference in the world in getting back to playoffs!
Jacksonville - Coach Jack Del Rio's crew right on schedule. They should battle Cincy for AFC Title in playoffs NEXT year.

Indianapolis - Peyton and Co. running out of bullets and chances...
Tennessee - Vince is a project but Coach Fish will keep them out of cellar!
Houston - They should have gotten Harrington. They're headed nowhere w/ Carrwreck!
San Diego - Drew Brees who? They are better off with young Rivers! One year away...
Denver - No starting QB and no prospect for future. A poor draft, too. Shanahan's a marked man..."Jake Plummer was very good last year! Wasn't all Jakes fault they lost to Steelers! The Bronco's Defense was horrid that day!" Myk

Oakland - Even Art can't win with Brooks, Green and Tuiasosopo. Six wins should get him Coach of the Year! Getting 'He Hate Me' Smart will sell a few Tix though!
Kansas City - Edwards is a very mediocre replacement for legendary Vermeil!

NFC side...
Carolina - They'll be in Super Bowl XLI no matter who runs the ball!
New Orlean - Saints have deeped QB contingent in League w/ Brees, Jamie Martin and Todd Bouman! Former ArenaBowl QB Payton will get Coach of Year!
Atlanta - Time to Fish or Cut Bait for VA's Mike Vick. Or move to RB...Or WR...
Minnesota - Brad Johnson has one more Super Bowl rings than you or I...
Tampa Bay - Gruden Bros. brain trust blow a microchip. Picked the wrong QB!
Chicago - Their gain as Brian Griese finally gives Lovie a REAL QB! No playoffs though
Detroit - Martz + Kitna = .500. Well, Rod Martinelli, it's better than losing!

Green Bay - It won't be funny if Favre is still playing in Oct...Should have retired!
Dallas - How much gas does Tuna Parcells and Bledsoe have left in tank?
Washington - Gibbs and Co. essembled all good parts, but can they jell in time?
Philadelphia - Andy Reid, Donovan and Co. still need a better backup. Garcia has slipped...
New York Giants - They have a very good Defence, Special Teams and no starting QB. Eli is the worst Manning yet! ("And you still don't like Peyton either do you Moose?" Myk)

Arizona - Kurt finally has a running game! They will make the playoffs and win Div!
Seattle - Suffering from Post-Super Bowl XL letdown. They have to know they let that one slip away...
Saint Louis - Got it half right; got rid of Martz but kept wrong QB! Bulger is horrid!
San Francisco - Should trade Alex Smith for Bulger. Then they would win 3 games. Poor Coach Mike Nolan. What did he do to deserve this?

Sat, July 1 06 "CFL Rd 3 The BC Lions defeat Toronto Argonauts 26 to 19 last night at Pammy's BC Place! Ricky Williams has a good game!" Myk Aussie

Ricky Williams ran for 97 yards last night including his 1st CFL Touch down on 18 carriers as the Argo's fought back in the 2nd half. His longest was 31 yards. He also had 21 receiving yards from two catches.
