My 3 NFL week 11 bets!
I went 2 out of 3 in week 10 bets.
Philadelphia Eagles at -3 on Sportsintercation.com
New England Patriots at -4 on Bodog.com
Denver Broncos at +10 on Bodog.com
My 2010 NFL week 11 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest coming Friday. Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition, I've had a tough season so far. How to Play refer to Sat Sept 11 report below! Picks against the spread!
Another tough week last week, going 6-8 straight up. Against the spread I also went 6-8. In this competition the team that I am most confident in winning, I give the most points (this week it's 16 points) all the way down to the team I think will win, but am least confident about I give 1 point. This week? Damn it's a tough week again. Anything could happen!
16 Ravens, 15 Saints, 14 Titans, 13 Falcons, 12 Cowboys, 11 Bengals, 10 Patriots, 9 Steelers, 8 Jets, 7 Eagles, 6 Chiefs, 5 49ers, 4 Chargers, 3 Packers, 2 Browns, 1 Dolphins.
Against the spread!
Using the Sportsinteraction.com spreads I'm going for the above teams also against the spread except for 1) Raiders at +7.5 2) Texans at +7 3) Cardinals at +8.5 4) Bucs at +3.5 5) Broncos at +10.
From Thurs Nov 18. NFL Week 11, Dolphins for 1 point in Nasty Nates great tipping contest!
Chicago Bears vs Miami Dolphins in Miami on Thursday night. This is a tough game to pick. I'll go for the Dolphins seeing it is in Miami.
All my picks and the 3 bets coming Friday.
From Fri Nov 12. My three week 10 NFL bets!
I went 2 out of 3 in week 9 bets.
Philadelphia Eagles -3 on Sportsinteraction.com. Way to good for Redskins I believe.
Indianapolis Colts -7 on Sportsbook.com. Bengals season is done.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -7 on bodog.com. Carolina Panthers are horrible.
My 2010 NFL week 10 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest coming Friday. Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition, I had a rough 1st 8 weeks but a great week 9. How to Play refer to Sat Sept 11 report below! Picks against the spread!
I finally had a great week last week, going 12-1 straight up. Against the spread I went 7-5. In this competition the team that I am most confident in winning, I give the most points (this week it's 14 points) all the way down to the team I think will win, but am least confident about I give 1 point. This week? Damn it's a tough week again. Anything could happen!
14 New York Giants, 13 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 12 Philadelphia Eagles, 11 Houston Texans, 10 Minnesota Vikings, 9 San Fransisco 49ers, 8 Indianapolis Colts, 7 Detroit Lions, 6 Arizona Cardinals, 5 Tennessee Titans, 4 Cleveland Browns, 3 New England Patriots, 2 Baltimore Ravens, 1 Denver Broncos.
Picks against the spread!
Spreads as per Sportsinteraction.com. I'm going for all of the above teams also against the spread except for 1) Dallas Cowboys at +14 against the New York Giants 2) Saint Louis Rams +6 against the San Fransisco 49ers. As you will notice I have gone for several underdogs in the above picks.
From Nov 11. NFL Thursday night football is here, Baltimore Ravens vs Atlanta Falcons. I'll go pick Ravens for 2 points in Nasty Nate's excellent tipping competition!
This should be a great game. I believe the Ravens will win just in Atlanta even though the Falcons record at home is excellent the last 2 years.
All my picks and 3 bets coming Friday!
From Mon Nov 8. Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones fires head coach Wade Phillips after a horrible 1st half of the season!
Cowboys are 1-7 after being hammered 45-7 Sunday night by the Green Bay Packers. So much for the Cowboys being a pick to make the Super Bowl in their fancy new stadium. Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has been named interim head coach.
From Thurs Nov 4. My three week 9 NFL bets!
f
I hoping to have a another winning week after going 2 out of 3 in week 8. I've gone for 3 favourites this week.
1) New England Patriots -5 on Sportsinteraction.com.
I'm really starting to like the Patriots this year. They play the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland. I believe they will win by a touchdown or more.
2) New Orleans Saints -6.5 on Sportsbook.com.
Saints play Carolina Panthers in Carolina. After the Saints win over the strong Steelers on Monday night, I believe they are getting back to last years form and should win well against the very average Panthers.
3) Green Bay Packers -8 on Bodog.com.
Packers play Dallas Cowboys in Green Bay. Cowboys are a disgrace. Packers to win well.
My 2010 NFL week 9 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest coming Friday. Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition, I've had a rough 1st 8 weeks. How to Play refer to Sat Sept 11 report below! Picks against the spread!
I had another average week 8 going 6-7 straight up. Against the spread I went 5-7. In this competition the team that I am most confident in winning, I give the most points (this week it's 13 points) all the way down to the team I think will win, but am least confident about I give 1 point.
13 New Orleans Saints, 12 New England Patriots, 11 Green Bay Packers, 10 Minnesota Vikings, 9 Atlanta Falcons, 8 New York Giants, 7 Pittsburgh Steelers, 6 Baltimore Ravens, 5 Philadelphia Eagles, 4 Oakland Raiders, 3 New York Jets, 2 San Diego Chargers, 1 Chicago Bears.
Picks against the spread.
This week using the Sportsbook.com odds, I'm going for all the teams as above also against the spread except 1) Detriot Lions at +4 against the New York Jets 2) Miami Dolphins at +5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
From Wed Nov 3. Randy Moss is now a Titan!
A great pickup I think/could be/should be for the Titans. Apparently no other teams were interested. I thought and was hoping he would have ended up back at the Patriots.
From Tues Nov 2. Randy Moss has been crazily released by the Vikings!
f
This is a crazy story. Randy Moss was traded to the Vikings from the Patriots several weeks ago for a 3rd round pick. Now the Vikings "science teacher/coach" Brad Childress releases him after Randy's bad press conference after the loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
I thought Randy was stupid saying what he did in the press conference, praising the Patriots and ripping into the Vikings coaching but to cut him is crazy. I hope Randy ends up back at the Patriots. That would be hilarious.
My 3 NFL week 8 bets, I went 2 out of 3.
I won on the Detroit Lions and the Jacksonville Jaguars. My #1 team the Denver Broncos again let me down.
From Fri Oct 29. Latest on Brett Favre!
Seems like to much trouble in Vikings camp with "another" Brett Favre saga. He has a busted up ankle but still wants to play. He is a very tough guy but it's not looking good for Brett this week.
My three week 8 NFL bets!
f
This week I have gone for 3 underdogs. It continues to be a great but very unpredictable NFL season. I made a commitment to a sports betting bosss that I would place 3 bets each week as a newcomer to betting. If I had my choice I would have placed none this week but here we go.
1) Denver Broncos +2 on Sportsbook.com.
f
Broncos play San Fransisco 49ers in London, England (Pommyland). I'm hoping the Broncos bounce back after last weeks disaster againt the Raiders. 49ers quarterback Alex Smith is out with a shoulder injury but actually that could be a good thing for the 49ers.
2) Detroit Lions -2.5 on Sportsinteraction.com.
f
Lions play Washington Redskins in Detroit. They had a bye last week so I'm believing they can win this game. Lions young stud quarterback is believed to be back this week after missing several weeks with a shoulder injury. It could be a close game though.
3) Jacksonville Jaguars +6.5 on Bodog.com.
This is quite amazing. Dallas Cowboys at 1-5 are favored by -6.5 and without quarterback Tony Romo. I went with my mate Gabriel Morency on this after listening and watching to him today on sportsinteraction.com. Cowboys are at home and may win this game but the Jags at +6.5 is more attractive than any of the other games.
I wanted to place a bet on the Patriots at home against the Vikings at -5.5 to -6 but the betting was closed on sportsinteraction.com, bodog.com and Sportsbook.com. Not sure why. Seems like to much trouble in Vikings camp with "another" Brett Favre saga. He has a busted up ankle but still wants to play.
My 2010 NFL week 8 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest coming Friday. Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition, I've had a rough start. How to Play refer to Sat Sept 11 report below! Picks against the spread!
I had another average week 7 going 8-6 straight up. Against the spread I went a horrible 4-9. In this competition the team that I am most confident in winning, I give the most points (this week it's 13 points) all the way down to the team I think will win, but am least confident about I give 1 point. This week is possibily the hardest I have ever had to pick in this competition.
13 New York Jets, 12 Kansas City Chiefs, 11 New England Patriots, 10 Denver Broncos, 9 Detroit Lions, 8 St Louis Rams, 7 Pittsburgh Steelers, 6 Indianapolis Colts, 5 Cincinnati Bengals, 4 Dallas Cowboys, 3 Oakland Raiders, 2 Tennessee Titans, 1 Arizona Cardinals.
Against the spread!
Using Sportsinteraction.com spreads, I'm going for all of the above teams also against the spread except for 1) Texans vs Colts at +5.5 and 2) Tampa Bay Buccaneers at +3 against the Arizona Cardinals.
From Tues Oct 26. NFL week 7 there were "again" some big upsets! I'm saying this every week as it's true!
d
I went 1 out of 3 with the three bets that I placed.
1) Oakland Raiders defeated Denver Broncos 59-14.
I'm disgusted. I took the Broncos at -8.5. Just when I was having some faith in the Broncos my #1 team. That's all I have to say.
2) New England Patriots defeated San Diego Chargers 23-20.
I took the Patriots at +3. Chargers are in a bit of trouble while the Patriots continue to win each week. A amazing team.
3) Seattle Seahawks defeated Arizona Cardinals 22-10.
Even though I thought this game could go either the way the Cardinals at +6 looked attractive to me. Not to be. Seahawks if they keep improving could be a good chance this year in the weaker NFC.
From Sat Oct 23. My three week 7 NFL bets!
f
This week I have gone for 3 underdogs. It continues to be a great but very unpredictable NFL season.
1) Denver Broncos -8.5 on Sportsbook.com.
Broncos play the Oakland Raiders in Denver. They should have beaten the New York Jets last week in Denver, the Jets being one of the best teams in the NFL. Broncos should win and win well at home.
2) New England Patriots +3 on Sportsbook.com.
Patriots start underdogs against the San Diego Chargers in San Diego. This should be a excellent game but I believe the Patriots will win or if they loose it will be by a small margin. Chargers are playing terribly.
3) Arizona Cardinals +6 on Bodog.com.
Cardinals are underdogs against the Seattle Seahawks in Seattle. Although the Seahawks may win this game the +6 was attractive. I was liking this pick as a possible 3rd bet the Randle then Handle on The Team 1200 Ottawa radio on Friday morning had this as one of his favourite 3 bets and believing the Cardinals will win. So I thought OK. Then last night on NFL Network the 3 experts all went for the Seahawks, again proving this game should be close and what a crazy NFL season it is.
My 2010 NFL week 7 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest coming Friday. Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition, I've had a rough start. How to Play refer to Sat Sept 11 report below! Picks against the spread!
I had a average week 6 going 7-7 straight up. Against the spread I went 9-4. In this competition the team that I am most confident in winning, I give 14 points all the way down to the team I think will win, but am least confident about I give 1 point. If I have another average week I think in week 8 I will go to a Ottawa bar, find out the hottest waitress that doesn't even follow the NFL and get here to do my last 10 or so picks.
14 Baltimore Ravens, 13 New Orleans Saints, 12 Denver Broncos, 11 Kansas City Chiefs, 10 Atlanta Falcons, 9 New England Patriots, 8 San Fransisco 49ers, 7 Dallas Cowboys, 6 Arizona Cardinals, 5 Tennessee Titans, 4 Minnesota Vikings, 3 Washingon Redskins, 2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 Pittsburgh Steelers.
Against the spread!
Using the Sportsbook.com spreads I am going for the same 14 teams against the spread as well. Now that is weird and not with the odds but the spreads are so low in most of the games I have to go with the team that I believe will win. Ravens and Saints are -13 and I believe they will cover that. Broncos as above at -8.5 I like, Kansas City at -9 should be safe as well as Jags have QB issues." Myk Aussie

Michael Vick the Eagles backup quarterback, on Sunday Sept 19, he started his 1st game in the NFL since being released from jail. He was in jail because of his illegal dog fighting business. While Michael sadly used to bet on the Dogs (sometimes to their death) I recently bet on him to lead the Eagles to a win against the Lions. He did, but not by enough. Refer below.
NFL week 6 there were "again" some big upsets!
d
I went 1-1 and 1 push with the three bets that I placed.
1) Indianapolis Colts defeated Washington Redskins 27-24.
This was the bet that I won. It was a great game on Sunday night, the Redskins nearly defeated the Colts in Washington. Donovan McNabb is leading the Redskins really well this year while Mike Shanahan again has proven he is a great coach. Redskins are a real chance to make the playoffs, something I really didn't think would happen this year. Colts are slowly getting back to their great form over the past years.
2) New England Patriots defeated Baltimore Ravens 23-20 in overtime.
This game was the push. What a great game it was. Wide receiver Deion Branch played great in his 1st game back at the Patriot, he was traded from the Seattle Seahawks to the Patriots last week. The Ravens lead early with the Patriots having a better 2nd half. The Patriots defense is playing better than many experts predicted. The Ravens are still one of the best teams in the NFL despite this close loss in New England.
3) San Fransisco 49ers defeated Oakland Raiders 17-9.
Ah! This really annoyed me as I went for the Raiders at +7. The 49ers finally get their 1st win while the Raiders disappoint just when many of the NFL experts were predicting them to win in San Fransisco.
From Sat Oct 16. My three week 6 NFL bets!
f
This week I have gone for 3 underdogs. What a very unpredictable NFL season it has been so far.
1) Washington Redskins +3.5 on Sportsinteraction.com
r
The Indianapolis Colts have had a average start to the season while the Redskins have played excellent at home, this game is in Washington. It is the +3.5 that made me decide on betting on the Redskins. Also several of the NFL experts on the NFL Network believe the Redskins will win this game. Should be a close game.
d
2) Baltimore Ravens +3 on Bodog.com
This should be a great game as the Ravens travel to New England to take on the Patriot. I think the Ravens will win in a close game.
3) Oakland Raiders +7 on Sportsbook.com
f
The Raiders, I'm betting on the Raiders? I must be loosing it! I don't think so, the +7 is very attractive. I actually think they will win the game as well. They are on the road, but not that far as they travel to take on the winless 49ers in San Fransisco.
My 2010 NFL week 6 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest coming Friday. Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition, I've had a rough start. How to Play refer to Sat Sept 11 report below! Picks against the spread!
I had a terrible week 5 going 6-8 straight up. Against the spread I went a horrible 4-10. In this competition the team that I am most confident in winning, I give 14 points all the way down to the team I think will win, but am least confident about I give 1 point.
This weeks NFL picks are; 14 Pittsburgh Steelers, 13 New York Giants, 12 San Diego Chargers, 11 Chicago Bears, 10 Houston Texans, 9 Tennessee Titans, 8 New Orleans Saints, 7 Atlanta Falcons, 6 New York Jets, 5 Oakland Raiders, 4 Baltimore Ravens, 3 Washington Redskins, 2 Green Bay Packers, 1 Minnesota Vikings.
Against the spread. I used Sportsinteraction.com spreads this week. I will go for all of the above against the spread except I'll go for 1) Rams to cover the -9 against the Chargers, 2) Lions to cover the -10 against the Giants and 3) Dolphins to cover the -3.5 against the Packers. The Packers have several injuries, that game could go either way.
From Mon Oct 11. NFL week 5 there were again some big upsets!
d
I went 1-2 with the three bets that I placed.
The Ravens were way too good for the Broncos, winning easily 31-17. They could possibily, currently be the best team in the NFL. I didn't think the Broncos would win but I thought they were a chance. I thought they would have covered the 7 point spread.
d
Atlanta Falcons defeated Cleveland Browns 20-10. This is the one bet that I won.
Arizona Cardinals amazingly defeated New Orleans Saints 30-20. My 2nd lost bet." Myk Aussie
Sat Oct 9. "My three week 5 NFL bets!" Myk Aussie
This week I have gone for a underdog and two favourites that I believe should win reasonably easy. That said what a very unpredictable NFL season it has been so far.
1) Denver Broncos +7 on Sportsinteraction.com
The Broncos had a great win last week again the Titans in Tennessee. This week I don't think they will win (although I hope they do) but I don't believe the Baltimore Ravens will win by more than 7 points. Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton is having a great start to the season, but he needs to score more touchdowns in the red zone. The Broncos offense will have to be playing well against the tough Ravens defense but I believe they are up to it. The Ravens offense against the Broncos defense should also be a interesting battle.
2) Atlanta Falcons -3 on Sportsbook.com
The Atlanta Falcons are simply a way better team than the Cleveland Browns. Although the Browns defeated the Bengal's last week at home, I believe the Falcons will win by more than 3 points in Cleveland.
3) New Orleans Saints -7 on Bodog.com
The Saints play the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona. The Cardinals have been horrid this year. The loss of star quarterback Kurt Warner (retirement) and star wide receiver Anquan Boldin (to the Ravens) has really effected the Cardinals. Saints have been a bit shaky this year so far but they should win by more than 7 points.
My 2010 NFL week 5 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest coming Friday. Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition, I've had a rough start. How to Play refer to Sat Sept 11 report below! Picks against the spread!
I had a very average week 4 going 8-6 straight up. Against the spread I went a horrible 5-8. In this competition the team that I am most confident in winning, I give 14 points all the way down to the team I think will win, but am least confident about I give 1 point.
This weeks NFL picks are; 14 New Orleans Saints, 13 Indianaplois Colts, 12 San Diego Chargers, 11 Cincinnati Bengal's, 10 Atlanta Falcons, 9 Dallas Cowboys, 8 Houston Texans, 7 Green Bay Packers, 6 New York Jets, 5 Jacksonville Jaguars, 4 Baltimore Ravens, 3 Detroit Lions, 2 Carolina Panthers, 1 San Fransisco 49ers.
Against the spread. I used Sportsinteraction.com spreads this week. I'm going for all of the above picks straight up and against the spread except for 1) The Denver Broncos at +7 vs the Baltimore Ravens 2) Minnesota Vikings at +4 vs New York Jets 3) Tennessee Titans at +7 vs Dallas Cowboys 4) Philadelphia Eagles vs San Fransisco 49ers +3.5.
From Tues Oct 5. My week 4 report from the three games I placed bets on!
This is getting too crazy, the NFL season so far this season. Maybe I'm thinking too much about my bets but why wouldn't I study the games and the lines. Maybe this week I just throw a dart at a dart board with teams names on there. You can tell I'm pissed off, I went 0-3 this week.
1) Jacksonville Jaguars defeated Indianapolis Colts 31 - 28 in overtime. I took the Colts at –7 on Sportsbook.com
This result really shocked me. The Colts are now 2-2, I have to accept that fact that they are now not a automatic pick most weeks. I had heard that the Jags played the Colts tough in the past, I should have listened to that fact.
2) Cleveland Browns defeated Cincinnati Bengal’s 23 - 20. I took the Bengal's at –3 on Sportsbook.com
Damn the Bengal's! I really thought this week was going to be the week that the Bengal's offense got going, it did somewhat. Bengal's new wide receiver, Terrell Owens had a big game, 10 receptions for 222 yards and scoring a touchdown. Congratulations on the Cleveland "Shitta a me pants/UPS" Browns on their 1st win of the season.
This was interesting. Listening to the sports radio show on Sunday morning with Randle the Handle and the guys, they were saying late money came in on the Browns from some of the big money betters, thus forcing the line from 3 down to about 1.5. I'd hate to think the NFL (I luv the NFL) is in any way rigged and Bengal's defensive players and some offensive players didn't play at 100%, thus were involved in this loss to help the big money guys?
Damn I hope not, but who knows these days in this crazy world of money, bribes, corrruption, threats on players and their families by guys with guns etc. If you have ever heard Michael Franzese on The Jim Rome Show you will understand what I am referring to here.
3) Washington Redskins defeated Philadelphia Eagles 17 - 12. I took the Eagles at -5.5 on Sportsbook.com
Redskins defeating the Eagles in Philly was a huge win especially with Donovan McNabb the now Redskins quarterback returning to Philly wher ehe was there quarterback for 1 seasons.
Eagles loosing their quarterback Michael Vick early in the game with a rib injury was disastorous. I am a huge Vick fan (on the field) and he was the main reason I was very confident they were going to win" Myk Aussie
Sat Oct 2. " NFL Week 4 Betting picks and report! All 3 bets this week were placed with Sportsbook.com!" Myk Aussie
What a very unpredictable start to the NFL season it has been. Last year I won a great NFL tipping contest but this year after studying the NFL more in the off and pre season I have had a very average start. The good news was I went 2-1 in week 3 bets. I’m confident I can do well again this week.
1) Indianapolis Colts –7 on Sportsbook.com
2) Cincinnati Bengal’s –3 on Sportsbook.com
3) Philadelphia Eagles -5.5 on Sportsbook.com
Indianapolis Colts –7 on Sportsbook.com
Well I lost money on the Colts in week 1 against the Texans, but I’m confident the Colts, lead by legend quarterback Peyton Manning will defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars by more than a touchdown. News just in from Friday night, is the Colts have some injury worries on their offense but I'm still confident in this bet.
My #1 team is the Denver Broncos, watching the Colts offence last week against the Broncos was frustrating, but brilliant play by Peyton and his mates. I believe Peyton will end up being the greatest quarterback in NFL history.
Cincinnati Bengal’s –3 on Sportsbook.com
As mentioned in last weeks report, according to Cedric Benson the Bengal’s running back, some of the Bengal’s offensive players are getting frustrated at their “under achievement” so far this season.
I believe this week; they will improve their play and win convincingly against the Cleveland Browns. Sportsbook.com again had the best odds at –3.
Philadelphia Eagles -5.5 on Sportsbook.com
s
I've been liking the Eagles in this game for most of the week, now that Michael Vick is back to his amazing "pre jail" form. Eagles at home, I believe will defeat the Washington Redskins by a touchdown, if not by quite a bit more.
I am a big Donovan McNabb fan (hee is the new Redskins quarterback) but I don't think the Redskins are a very good team at the moment. I'll be feeling for him going back to Philly where unfortunately way too many Philly fans are too negative/fickle and too many will most likely boo McNabb who was their star quarterback until this year. The Eagles trading him to the Washington Redskins, a NFL Divisional rival was crazy. I bet right now the San Francisco 49ers wish they had Donovan as their quarterback as I believe they were interested in getting him.
I often wonder why Philadelphia is called the city of "brotherly love" watching and listening to many of the Philly fans. But hey I experienced the hospitality of a beautiful young doctor Cwoa lady several years ago in Philly, so maybe I'm being too harsh on Philly fan.
Sportsbook again this week gave me the best odds at -5.5. I was trying to bet on a underdog this week. I was considering the Denver Broncos against the Tennessee Titans at +7 and also the Buffalo Bills at +6 against the New York Jets, but I decided on the 3 favourites as above.

My 2010 NFL week 4 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest! This week the picks are from 14 points to 1. ie the team I am most confident to win I give 14 pts. The 2nd most confident to win I give 13 pts all the way down to the team that I am least confident of to win I give 1 pt! Picks against the spread!
s
I had a very average week 3 going 8-8 straight up. Against the spread I went a horrible 5-11.
This weeks NFL picks are; 14 New Orleans Saints, 13 Green Bay Packers, 12 San Diego Chargers, 11 Cincinnati Bengal's, 10 Indianapolis Colts, 9 Atlanta Falcons, 8 Philadelphia Eagles, 7 New York Jets, 6 Houston Texans, 5 Tennessee Titans, 4 Chicago Bears, 3 Miami Dolphins, 2 Baltimore Ravens, 1 St Louis Rams.
Picks against the spread, this week I'm using the Sportsbook.com spreads. I am going for the teams above against the spread (my last 4 picks being underdogs) except for, I am going for the Broncos, Bills and Lions against the spread." Myk Aussie
Tues Sept 28. "NFL week 3 bets and report!" Myk Aussie
I had a average week in Nasty Nate's competition but this week, I went 2-1 in the 3 bets placed.
Cincinnati Bengal’s -3 at Sportsbook.com.
Even though Bengal’s quarterback Carson Palmer had a average day the Bengal’s as I predicted they defeated the Panthers, 20-7. Is there as predicted trouble brewing with the Bengal’s offence already especially seeing Terrell Owens is there?
Cedric Benson the Bengal’s excellent running back suggested this week on Jim Rome’s TV show that there is some annoyance amongst the offence players. This should be a highlight this NFL season, the personalities on the Bengal’s team.
Arizona Cardinals -4 at Sportsinteraction.com.
After three games, the Cardinals losing legend quarterback Kurt Warner to retirement and stud wide receiver Anquan Boldin to the Baltimore Ravens, has had a bigger effect on the Cardinals than many predicted.
The Cardinals defeated the Oakland Raiders, 24-23 but did not cover the spread. I doubt that I will bet on the Cardinals anytime soon.
Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 at Sportsbook.com
Wow, what about the Steelers! they are now 3-0 even without quarterback Big Ben the recent "Rotten Burger" Roethlisberger. The Steelers as expected defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 38-13.
I hate to say this as I’m not much of a Steelers fan, but I think they are a real chance this year to win the AFC Championship game and get to the Super Bowl.
As mentioned last week, I believe at this early stage in my NFL betting, selecting wins on points spreads is the best way to try and win.
From Sat Sept 25. NFL week 3 bets and report!
After a rough start to the NFL season in the three weekly bets that I place, I'm really hoping for a better result this week.
1) Cincinnati Bengal’s -3 at Sportsbook.com
2) Arizona Cardinals -4 at Sportsinteraction.com
3) Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 at Sportsbook.com
Cincinnati Bengal’s -3 at Sportsbook.com
Bengal’s play the Panthers in Carolina. The Panthers seem to be an average team and this week they are starting rookie quarterback Jimmy Clausen. I really believe the Bengal’s will win this game by more than 3 points.
Of the current 3 betting sites that I am using, Sportsbook.com gave the best odds on this game at -3 compared to -3.5 with Bodog.com and Sportsinteraction.com.
Arizona Cardinals -4 at Sportsinteraction.com
Cardinals are at home against the Oakland Raiders. As mentioned I'm new to NFL betting so this week I'm going to take the advise of Randle the Handle, who I hear each week on Ottawa sports radio. I liked the Cardinals at -4 and Randle reconfirmed this.
Although the Cardinals were beaten badly last week by the Atlanta Falcons, I believe they will defeat the Oakland Raiders in their home opening game. Sportsinteraction.com had the best odds on this game at -4 compared to -4.5 at Bodog.com and Sportsbook.com.
Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 at Sportsbook.com
This was a last minute decision, picking the Steelers against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Tampa Bay. After reading the headlines of Gabriel Morency TV (Gabriel is one of my favorite sports radio personalities) on Sportsinteraction.com and then listening to Gabriel say that he believes the Steelers defense will score more points that the Buc's offense, I decided to take the Steelers at the attractive -2.5 odds on Sportsinteraction.com
I listen to lots of NFL media personalities on NFL Network TV and Canadian and USA sports TV and radio. Some of these NFL media personalities I like more than others, thus I believe new people to NFL betting should take "some" advise from the people that they like when deciding which NFL team to pick and then bet on.
Two other games I also liked, the Philadelphia Eagles at -2.5 against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Jacksonville and the New England Patriots at home at -13.5 against the Buffalo Bills.
My 2010 NFL week 3 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest!Picks from 16 points to 1. ie the team I am most confident to win I give 16 pts. The 2nd most confident to win I give 15 pts all the way down to the team that I am least confident of to win I give 1 pt! Picks against the spread!
After winning this great tipping competitiuon last season, I've had a very average start. In week 2 I went 9-7 straight up and 5-10 against the spread.
This weeks tips are; 16 New England Patriots, 15 Baltimore Ravens, 14 Cincinnati Bengals, 13 Minnesota Vikings, 12 Pittsburgh Steelers, 11 San Diego Chargers, 10 Philadelphia Eagles, 9 Arizona Cardinals, 8 Washington Redskins, 7 San Fransisco 49ers, 6 Indianapolis Colts, 5 New York Giants, 4 New Orleans Saints, 3 Houston Texans, 2 Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins.
Picks against the spread. This week I'm using Sportsbook.com spreads. I'm going for all of the above teams against the spread except I'm going for the Lions at +11.5 against the Vikings and the Browns at +11 against the Ravans.
Last Friday night I was talking NFL on Sports Rage with Gabriel Morency, Listen and watch now!
You guys should get a laugh out of this. Friday night I was on with Gabe Morency. I've been mates with Gabe since 2002 and been on his show since then many weeks. At about 1.34 on here. ie 1 hr and 34 min's in. Note, Guys should be 12-14 to listen, women must be 16 or older as I don't want their mums telling me off as this is uncensored late night sports radio. Click here" Myk Aussie
Tuesday Sept 21. "My week 2 bets report!" Myk Aussie
My bets were Vikings –5.5 at Sportsbook.com
Philadelphia Eagles –6 at Sportsinteraction.com
New Orleans Saints –6 at Bodog.com. I thus went 0-3 against the spread.
Miami Dolphins defeated Minnesota Vikings 14-10.
The Miami Dolphins are a excellent team, adding Brandon Marshall this year, the excellent wide receiver was a great decision. Their defense played very well against the, in 09 high powered Vikings offense lead by Legend Brett Favre.
I thought the Vikings was a safe bet at home. Not to be.
Philadelphia Eagles defeated Detroit Lions 35-32.
My prediction that Eagles new starting quarterback Michael Vick would play a great game was correct. I thought my bet was all good just after 1/2 time as the Eagles were well infront, but it was not to be as the Lions fought back to nearly win at home.
News just in is that Vick will stay the Eagles starting quarterback. And so he should.
New Orleans Saints defeated San Fransisco 49ers 25-22.
The Saints, the reigning Super Bowl Champions ventured to San Fransisco for the Monday night game. The 49ers were definitly pumped after a shocking week 1 loss to the Seahawks. They started the game badly, but then fought back in the 2nd quarter to trail at half time, 9-7. The Saints held on for a 3 point win, but this was not enough with the spread being 6.
I did however win money on the Green Bay Packers as they convincingly defeated the Buffalo Bills in Green Bay 34-7. This bet was not however 1 of the 3 main bets that I am reporting on each week.
After 2 weeks, one of my mistakes is thinking a team will win by more than they are. The other mistake is taking the Vikings and the Cowboys. They have been average so far this season. The Cowboys play Texans this week in Houston, wow a 0-3 start a big possibility for the Cowboys.
From Sun Sept 19. Picks against the spread! $10 of free bets with Sportsbook.com!
This week I'm going for every team against the spread that I went for straight up in Nasty Nates tipping cometition as per below. I was also given a $10 bonus if I place bets before Sunday on Sportsbook.com, so this week I'm using the Sportsbook.com odds.
The extra free bets I made were, $5 on the Green Pay Packers at -13 against the Buffalo Bills, while I placed a additional $5 on the Philadelphia Eagles at -6.5 over the Detroit Lions.
From Fri Sept 17. My NFL week 2 bets and report!
Wow! NFL week 1 was, as predicted a tough week, with many of the so-called experts struggling! This week is again looking tough, with many games possibly going either way; the NFL draft system is definitely working!
As mentioned last week I am new to sports betting. For the 2nd week in a row, I’m placing $3 bets against the spread. In the coming weeks, I’ll then look at betting on “under or over totals”, which is one of the many other types of bets that you can lay.
1) Minnesota Vikings –5.5 at Sportsbook.com
2) Philadelphia Eagles –6 at Sportsinteraction.com
3) New Orleans Saints –6 at Bodog.com
Minnesota Vikings –5.5 at Sportsbook.com
Vikings play the Miami Dolphins at home. Even though the Dolphins had a good win last week against the Buffalo Bills (my one win, placed at Bodog.com) I believe the Vikings are a much better team, especially at home in their incredibly loud indoor stadium.
The Vikings have had three extra days as well to prepare (they played on the Thursday night opening game) and this should also help them. Vikings to win by a touchdown or more, thus I liked the best available spread of -5.5 on Sportsbook.com
Philadelphia Eagles –6 at Sportsinteraction.com
Eagles play the Detroit Lions in Detroit. The Lions were so unlucky not to win last week against the Bears, with the final play of the day, a Lions touchdown by Calvin Johnson not being allowed. Unfortunately Lions second year quarterback the impressive Matthew Stafford, is out for several weeks with an injured shoulder.
I’ve always been a big Michael Vick fan as a player; he is starting this week at quarterback for the Eagles. Kevin Kolb the Eagles new 2010 starter is also out this week, as a result of a week 1 concussion. I believe this will actually benefit the Eagles as Vick will be extra keen to prove that he is still an excellent quarterback, his first start since being released from jail.
I was about to place the $3 bet on the Eagles at Bodog.com but though I better not with Michael Vick’s “dog” history.
New Orleans Saints –6 at Bodog.com
Saints play the San Francisco 49ers in San Francisco. The Saints the reigning Super Bowl Champions had an impressive week 1 win over the Vikings, while the Seahawks in Seattle embarrassed the 49ers. Many experts are predicting the 49ers to make the playoffs this season; they need to show a massive improvement if they are to get to within a touchdown against the Vikings.
Good luck in NFL week 2!

Updated Fri Sept 17. My week 2 picks Nasty Nate’s competition picks from 16 points to 1. ie the team I am most confident to win I give 16 pts. The 2nd most confident to win I give 15 pts all the way down to the team that I am least confident of to win I give 1 pt.
There were as predicted some big upsets in week. I went 9-7 straight up and 8-7 against the spread. I had a bad week in Nasty Nates competition as Dallas, Colts and Chargers cost me big.
This week is also looking tough.

16 Green Bay Packers, 15 Philadelphia Eagles, 14 Minnesota Vikings, 13 New Orleans Saints, 12 San Diego Chargers, 11 Dallas Cowboys, 10 Atlanta Falcons, 9 Tennessee Titans, 8 Carolina Panthers, 7 Houston Texans, 6 Indianapolis Colts, 5 Baltimore Ravens, 4 Denver Broncos, 3 New England Patriots, 2 Cleveland Browns, 1 Oakland Raiders.

Updated Tues Sept 14, 10. "NFL week 1 was as expected unpredictable! A report on my picks and bets!" Myk Aussie
NFL week 1 was as expected unpredictable! A report on my picks and bets!
Week 1 is famously hard to predict, so I tried to play it safe with my picks as per below:
Indianapolis Colts favored by 2 pts at Sportsbook.com
Miami Dolphins favoured by 3 at Bodog.com
3. Dallas Cowboys favoured by 3.5 at Sports Interaction.com
Houston Texans defeat Indianapolis Colts 34-24!
Early last week I thought the Texans were a chance to win this game but later in the week I thought no way will the Colts loose, they hardly ever do. The Texans lead the Colts all day, Arian Foster for the Texans ran for a team-record 231 yards and scored 3 TD's. Colts star quarterback Peyton Manning had yet another great game throwing for 433 yards and 3 touchdowns. Last week many NFL experts were predicting this could be the year the Texans make the playoffs. A great win.
Miami Dolphins defeat Buffalo Bills 15-10!
As predicted a low scoring, not very exciting game. The Bills offence led by quarterback Trent Edwards appears that it will again struggle this yearTrent threw for 139 yards and 1 touchdown while they ran for 50 yards. One of my favourite players in the NFL Brandon Marshall the former Bronco wide receiver now with the Dolphins had 8 receptions for 53 yards. Another favourite of mine Dolphins running back Ricky Williams had 18 carries for 62 yards. The Dolphins should have a good year while I believe the Bills will only have several wins. This bet paid off for me with a $4 win.
Washington Redskins defeat Dallas Cowboys 13-7!
This is the loss that really annoyed me. Why would I trust the Cowboys? It appeared the Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and coaches didn't trust their "banged up" offensive line, in the first half he threw very quickly on many occasions.
The forced fumble by Cowboys running back Tashard Choice resulted in a Redskins touchdown with seconds remaining in the 2nd quarter. This was a unnecessary play that in the end cost them the game. I was impressed with Cowboys controversial 1st Round Draft Pick wide receiver Dez Bryant while their star wide receiver from last year Miles Austin had a great game, 10 receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown. A great win for the Redskins in front of a massive home crowd." Myk Aussie

My 3 NFL bets and report as part of a new gig I have this 2010 NFL season for a sports betting site! My 2010 NFL week 1 picks in Nasty Nates 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest! Can I repeat in 2010 as the winner of this great competition! How to Play! Picks against the spread as well!
Yeh! The 2010 NFL season is finally here! Seriously the NFL keeps me in North America this time of the year when I could be back in Australia for the spring and summer. I'm on Sportsbookreview.net this year as a featured NFL better but with a twist. I have studied the NFL for the past 12+ years but I know very little about sports betting. Thus I’m here to help newcomers that luv the NFL but haven’t ventured into sports betting before. I have been fortunate enough to have had NFL media passes at 3 Super Bowl weeks, 3 Pro Bowl’s and other NFL games and have met and interviewed some of the best NFL players. I also won “Nasty Nate’s” excellent unique NFL tipping contest last year and came 6th out of approx 50 great NFL guys in a against the spread competition a few years ago. So I’m confident I can do OK and help the newcomers to NFL betting. NFL week 1 is tough though.
One of the featured guys on the betting site has advised me to bet 9% of the $100 bankroll I am allowed so that’s 3% on 3 games. Well I’ll up it here a bit and go 5% per game. So I’m in effect using my 10% signup bonuses this week. I was to add $20 in 5 of the top Sportsbooks on www.advantagesportsbetting.com and place 3 bets in week 1. Bodog.com and Sportsbook.com gave me a 10% bonus thus $22 while Sportsintercation.com gave me a 20% bonus thus $24. Thus I’ll show some luv this week to Sportsinteraction.com and they also feature a good mate of mine the Champ Gabriel Morency and his “Morency TV” on Sportsinteraction.com. So here goes.
1) Colts vs Texans in Houston. Colts favored by –2 on Sportsbook.com
I have liked the Colts ever since arriving in Canada in 1998, Peyton’s 1st year. My initial feeling is that he is still wild after losing last year’s Super Bowl. And although this will be a close game, I think Payton will be able to lead his troops to a victory by a field goal or just a bit more.
It’s not to say I don’t have love for the Texans, because I had an amazing time there all week for Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, but the –2 on Sportsbook.com was the deciding factor. $5 on Colts at –2 on Sportsbook.com.
For MYKwebTV from the Super Bowl in Houston Click here
2) Dolphins vs Bills in Buffalo. Dolphins favored by –3 on Bodog.com
Now that I’m living in the East of Canada if the Dolphins can’t beat the Bills I’ll go to Niagara Falls, look towards Buffalo, and damn well attempt to jump in!
The Bills? I have no dislike for any of the USA Bills fans but I got sick of watching them lose Super Bowls (the only NFL game I got to see each year) when I was younger in Australia. I love the NFL but I don’t want the NFL in Canada as I am also a huge CFL fan. I’m also pissed off at many of my NFL Bills mates in the “apparent center of the universe” TO (aka Toronto) that not only dislike the CFL but rip into the CFL while the other TO, Terrell Owens, even realized they were a bad team so he kept his mouth shut all year.
Now if it was cold and snowing and the “beach going” Dolphins players were all cold and scared I would give the Bills a chance. Dolphins RB Ricky Williams (also a former CFL Toronto Argonaut while he was not allowed in the NFL for smoking some ganja) has a great comeback story and I really got to liking this guy. $5 on Dolphins at –3 on Bodog.com.
t
3) Cowboys vs Redskins in Washington. Cowboys favored –3.5 on Sportsinteraction.com.
I haven’t always been a fan of the Cowboys but that’s changed over the last few years, especially since Aussie punter Mat McBriar, the Pro Bowler, started playing for them. Yeh yeh, I know, who cares about punters? Well I do and there are three Aussies right now punting in the NFL! And several other punters now use the Australian Rules Football end over end “Drop Punt” kick for greater accuracy.
These 3 Aussie punters in the NFL will tackle and hit too, no problem. Washington, hmmm as a Broncos Mike Shanahan and Donovan McNabb fan I’m hoping they have a good year but Albert Haynesworth? What a big rich cry baby he is! A disgraceful performance by Albert, through and through. I hope Mike kicks him out as he must have been a massive distraction this season to date. I believe Dallas should win this game by 7-21. $5 on the Cowboys at –3.5 on Sportsinteraction.com.

So there you go my 3 NFL week 1 picks. I also used strategy from “Nasty Nate’s 2010 Trans Canada Football Pool, a amazing NFL tipping contest!” by betting on my top 3 picks.
g
My week 1 picks Nasty Nate’s competition picks from 16 points to 1. ie the team I am most confident to win I give 16 pts. The 2nd most confident to win I give 15 pts all the way down to the team that I am least confident of to win I give 1 pt.
16 Miami Dolphins, 15 Indianapolis Colts, 14 Dallas Cowboys, 13 New York Giants, 12 San Diego Chargers, 11 Green Bay Packers, 10 San Francisco 49ers, 9 Tennessee Titans, 8 Arizona Cardinals, 7 Chicago Bears, 6 Atlanta Falcons, 5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 4 Denver Broncos, 3 New Orleans Saints, 2 New York Jets I think although this could be a Baltimore Ravens win on Monday night in what should be a rippa of a game. Hmmm Cincinnati Bengal’s or New England Patriots. I'll go for Patriots for 1 pt.
Picks against the spread as well!
This week I will use the Sportsinteraction.com spreads. I am going for all of the teams above also against the spread except 1) I'll go for the Detroit Lions to win against the spread. The spread is 6.5 for the Bears. 2) I will also go for the Bengal’s against the spread. The spread is 4.5 for the Patriots.
Next week my NFL Bets and report will also be a MYKwebTV show.
How to play from Nasty Nate!
"Its pretty simple. THERE ARE NO POINT SPREADS INVOLVED. Lets say there are 16 games in a week. Each person must rank ALL of these games from 16-1, placing 16 points on the team they are most sure will win, 15 on the team they are 2nd most sure will win, then 14, then 13, and so on, until they place 1 point on the game they are least sure of. If the team alotted 16 points wins their game, then the player receives 16 points in the bank. If that team losses, then the player would miss out on that 16 points. Each number from 16-1 can only be used once per week, and every number must be used. If the week only has 15 games, then picks would range from 15-1 instead. Here is an example of how you would send your picks (only the predicted winners of each game are listed):
NE 16, Den 15, Was 14, Dal 13, Chi 12, NYJ 11, GB 10, Atl 9, Phi 8, TB 7, Car 6, NO 5, Buf 4, Det 3, Sea 2, Mia 1
The player who collects the most points at the end of the week will win that week and receive a payout. Points accumulate over the entire season, and the top 12 point getters will qualify for the playoffs. In the playoffs, the top point getter drafts a team first, and receives more money for every game that team wins in the playoffs. The 2nd highest point getter drafts from the remaining teams, and so on, until the 12th place finisher receives the one remaining playoff team." Nasty Nate.
Sportsinteraction.com and Morency TV!
As part of this gig I was required to deposit money into 5 separate online sports betting companies one of these was sportsinteraction.com
Then I'm placing my bet on Dallas tonight on sportsinteraction.com and I see "Morency TV". I luved it with Gabe doing hios Hardcore style NFL report and picks. As many of you know I've been friends with Gabriel Morency since 2002. I was on his Montreal Sports Rage radio show for years and then he's been on several of my MYKwebTV shows at Super Bowl in Houston, in Montreal, Grey Cups etc." Myk Aussie
