"Boobie" Stallings seriously considering a CFL return!
I ran into Boobie recently on
Facebook and found out that he is seriously considering a return to the
CFL in 09. Boobie had 6 touches for 134 yards in the 05 Western Final for the
Stampeders. I remember he was very very unlucky not to be retained as a Running
Back by the Stampeders.
Boobie is a very interesting Sports character and I had a liking/interest for
him after I heard him being interviewed on Calgary Sports radio and also hearing
about a TV show that he starred in that was filmed in Brisbane Australia called
"King of the Jungle". I told him that Vancouver is a nice place to
live and that he would look good in a BC Lions jersey in the backfield with
Logan.
Other than the Stampeders where I believe he still has some disappointment, with
Boobie's luv of football he could be a excellent Running Back in the CFL and definitely
a excellent CFL personality. Hopefully I'll be reading about hm doing well at a
upcoming CFL training camp. Here is his very interesting website/Internet TV

Rage and The Score TV!
I'm done with this Stamps player shot in the leg (well unless anyone
contacts me for any reason) but I had to mention a update to the story on Sports
Rage on Wed night. The 1st show on here Click

leg.
My conclusion!"
Last night after the Stamps vs Al's game I went to the bar that some of the
Stamps players go to after their games. I
had to find out more and put a conclusion to this as the past three days have
been somewhat stressful. I had to show up seeing I put this story out there this
week.
I was advised in a very firm man on man way by one of the senior players that
"Myk there is no story here. Leave it alone, you have pissed off the
players." I was also told by this senior player that the player that I
mentioned that was shot is "Myk he's one of the guys and a good guy."
I took this conversation as a very firm "Leave it alone".
I 1st heard of this shooting story by a lady right at the scene but it was 3-4
weeks after the event. It is now 4-5 weeks after and thus my decision is to
leave it as said. It is still a news story but 4-5 weeks from the occurrence it
is not now current news. The Calgary Sun, Herald and other Calgary media now
have enough to run with this story if they wish.
Have I pissed a few people off at the Stampeders organization? Yes.
Do Media people in Canada respect my coverage on this? Some yes, some probably
not.
Do I have any regrets? None.
This
story is somewhat common knowledge now at the particular club. From a team and mate ship
perspective I think it is good that the Stamps players that were there and that
knew of this kept it very quite amongst themselves.
After
a late night last night I woke up this morning feeling very stress free after
realizing I am now unless contacted done with this story.
I believe this is only the 2nd time in my 8+ years of reporting on Nth American
Sports that I have reported on a negative story. The other was ripping into
Roger Clemens on radio and on MLB webWORLD on mykaussie.com after my face to
face negative experience with the now somewhat disgraced MLB Legend pitcher one
night during the Super Bowl XXXVIII week in Houston.

is a Crazy story that the Stamps have kept very very quiet! I
don't blame them for keeping this injury quiet, as I believe the real "leg
problem" story that resulted from a bizarre nightclub incident is not a
