"Un, Deux, Trois! Un, Deux, Trois! Un, Deux, Trois! No not 1, not 2 but 3 goals Shane Doan the Canadian Captain scored in the 6-3 win against Belarus at the IIHF World Championships of Hockey straight after the disgraceful proceedings that happened in Canadian Parliament recently. He obviously was very angry.  Shane who is from Halkirk Alberta was cleared several years ago of a comment towards a French Canadian umpire but several Quebec politicians thought he should not have been named Canadian captain because of this.  Many sports fans out here in the Wild Wild West including myself were really mad over this issue that should have been a non issue.

I'm still upset about this so now I'll rip into MLB Baseball for a bit. I'm very annoyed at the apparent widespread steroid use in MLB over the past 10+ years and soon Big Bad Barry Bonds who "apparently" took lots and lots of steroids will most likely break the home run record. Maybe he will be locked up for tax evasion and or for apparently telling lies under oath so that he can't break the record. That would please many sports fans.  The best thing about Baseball right now it that Cwocodile Pamela Anderson is a "Huge" fan. I heard recently how Cwoc (Cool Woman Of Canada) Pammy takes her two boys to Baseball in LA and that she loves the game. She apparently also said how she would do anything for the coaches as they are such great guys. Wow! I bet the coaches can't sleep at night now wondering what Pammy might do to them.  I like Baseball but to me Cricket is a better game. Australia recently again won the World Cup of Cricket beating Sri Lanka in the West Indies. Yeh!

I love the NFL but wow there have been some bad boys lately especially many Cincinnati Bengals and Pacman Jones from the Tennessee Titans. The new Commissioner Roger Goodell has impressed me with his tough stance on the Bad Boys of the NFL which included banning Pacman for a full season. I was also impressed at how Roger took star NCAA QB Brady Quinn into the NFL private suite to avoid the TV camera's as he dropped way down in the recent NFL draft. I wonder if the new CFL Commissioner Mark Cohon will be a strong leader. I hope so as the CFL is awesome. CFL training camps are starting soon. I like going to watch the Stamps training camp at McMahon Stadium and on the adjacent practice field.

Talking about Football well the 07 Australian Rules Football season has started and the 1^st game between the Calgary Kangaroos and the newly formed in 07 Calgary Bears took place on Sunday May 13.  It should be a great year as we can now play more games here in Calgary with two teams. We will also be traveling to Kelowna, Vancouver and then again hopefully to the North American Nationals. The Vancouver teams come here to Calgary on July 7 for the annual Stampede Cup. The Canadian guys really like playing Aussie Rules Footy. We need some more players so guys come and watch a game and then start playing."
